Sam Huskey, assistant professor of classics and letters, was honored with an ovatio in recognition of his service to the Classical Association of the Middle West and South at their annual meeting held in April. Huskey is the youngest member of the association to receive this honor, which includes an oration delivered in Latin at the annual awards banquet and a scroll, handwritten in calligraphy, along with the text published in The Classical Journal.
