Your gift, large or small, makes a difference. There
are many ways to make a meaningful gift to your academic program,
the College or OU. Regardless of what you choose to support
and how you choose to give, we will work to ensure that your
gift is a good fit between your interests and our needs. You
may provide a gift that is unrestricted, allowing the College
to seize opportunities or respond to emerging needs, or you
may direct your gift to support something very specific.
Gifts are typically directed to two types of accounts, regardless
of what they will support. Spendable accounts allow for
the entire gift to be spent for the intended purpose of the
gift, whereas endowed accounts provide perpetual funding, with
the gift invested and only the interest spent.
All gifts to the College will be deposited with the OU Foundation. The
OU Foundation is an independent, legal entity whose purpose is to accept, invest
and distribute charitable gifts as the donor intended to benefit programs at
OU.
