As a banking consultant for many years Loy specialized in community bank financial analysis, stock valuations, and strategic planning. At Oklahoma City University he served as visiting and adjunct professor of finance and banking, and he co-founded the Graduate Banking School and the Bank Directors' College, both of which he served as executive director.
In 1992-93, Loy was the resident banking adviser for the U.S. Treasury Department and KPMG in the Czech and Slovak Republics, where he helped establish banking schools and advised bankers and government officials. He has organized and/or lectured at more than 100 banking schools, conferences and seminars throughout the United States and Europe.
In addition to his work with MetaFund, Loy devotes much of his time to community service programs, such as the Citizens League of Central Oklahoma and the Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County. In 1996, he helped found SchoolScapes, a project to beautify the grounds of Oklahoma City public schools.
