Dr. Gayfree Ellison
Dr. Gayfree Ellison received his bachelor of science degree in 1898 from Bethany College and his doctor of medicine degree in 1903 from Rush Medical College. He was a professor and head of the Bacteriology Department at the University of Oklahoma from 1912 to 1929. In 1929, he moved to the Department of Botany in the College of Arts and Sciences. In 1920, he was named Director of Student Infirmary and in 1929 was named Director of Student Health Service and Infirmary until his death in 1932.

- Grace Ellison, Dr. Ellison’s great granddaughter
- Claire Ellison, Dr. Ellison’s great granddaughter
- Anna Lott, Dr. Ellison's great granddaughter
