Alex J. Kondonassis, Regents Professor of Economics, will be recognized by Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry and the Chancellor of Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for his years of outstanding service to the state of Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma on May 17.

Margaret Mauldin, Creek instructor, will receive an honorary doctorate from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.

Rodger Randle, professor of human relations at OU-Tulsa, has been named the Honorary British Consul in Oklahoma. He was appointed by the British Embassy in Washington by Consul General Judith Slater. His duties include promotion of trade between Oklahoma companies and the UK Trade and Investment office. For more information, visit this Web site.
