Homecoming parade

Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2006 Festivities

A&S Welcomes Board of Visitors for fall meeting.

This year's Homecoming theme "Sooners On The Board" will provide student groups with a fun challenge for the floats during the homecoming parade on Saturday. A variety of activities will take place during the week, culminating with the parade and the OU vs. Colorado football game at 6 p.m.

The College of Arts and Sciences will welcome their Board of Visitors on campus for the fall meeting on Friday and Saturday. Friday night will provide great entertainment as Board of Visitors members and the Leadership Scholars match wits at the annual trivia contest. Saturday, Leadership Scholars will join Dean Bell in the Homecoming Parade, set to begin at 3 p.m. The parade route starts north on Elm Avenue, east on Boyd Street, south on Asp Avenue and finished near the Oklahoma Memorial Union.

Students will have a chance for giveaways on the South Oval throughout the week, and royalty voting Tuesday and Wednesday. Be sure to check out the CAC Web site for more events throughout the week!
