Job Recruiters to Visit College

"Get to Know the OU College of Arts & Sciences" to be held in
National Weather Center.

Each year, the college invites job recruiters to a seminar on how well prepared Arts and Sciences students are for employment in their companies.

Study after study indicates that employers are looking for students who can speak and write well, and who observe, analyze and solve problems from a variety of cultural and ethical perspectives. Students in the college learn much about diversity and communication in their education, which helps to create a very attractive employee.

In addition to a great education, the college has more than 1,700 students registered with OU's Career Services through an agreement to make their services available to all A&S students at no extra cost to the student. This ensures a large pool of great candidates for employment; in fact, more than any other college at OU.

If you or your company is interested in attending the free seminar and luncheon, contact Von Allen at vonallen@ou.edu or (405) 325-3724.
