Dean’s Student Advisory Committee
The Dean’s Student Advisory Committee is composed of students from all academic units in the College of Arts and Sciences. Members are selected by their departments and meet five times a year with Dean Paul Bell and other college administrators. Dean Bell views this committee as an important conduit for open interaction between students and the administration; each meeting allows ample time for a wide-ranging Q&A session with the dean. Each department within the college also has a student advisory committee. In addition to discussing current issues, the department and college committees are responsible for reviewing proposed special course fees.
