Resource Network: Identify at least 2 people who are willing to serve as your Resource Network for this course. These must be individuals who have had recent experience supervising and must have supervised a group size of at least 4. You will be asking them to share their experience and specific examples and their insights about the workplace. Recruit your resources carefully finding people who are willing to see both the pros and the cons of the workplace in order to help you learn. Use caution about the person who has nothing positive to say for you could find yourself listening to someone vent their frustrations rather than helping you productively learn. The general format for most of your research will be 1.)What was your experience? 2.) What went well? 3.) What would you do differently the next time? 4.) What did you learn from this experience? Notice the Learning Cycle in action…
The goal is to learn about the real workplace and to draw insights, raise questions, understand the complexities, apply judgment to the situation.
