Description: An introduction to the interdisciplinary aspects of human consumption and the environment. Aspects of the production and consumption of food, energy, transportation, and housing are considered for their contributions to global climate change, air and water pollution, and habitat alteration, as well as other relevant topics regarding the environment. Students will learn how complex interactions between natural processes and human activities shape aspects of the global, regional, and local environment. [III-SS]
